Clifford Giesenow is an accomplished Cannabis and Botanicals industry executive and entrepreneur in the South African industry with almost a decade of experience founding, operating in, and scaling companies.
He is the co-founder of three pioneering companies: Taste of Cannabis (2019), where he served as Head of Product Development, Online and Wholesale; Leafolo (2018), where he continues to serve as Managing Director; and SilverLeaf Investments (2016), where he holds the role of Non-Executive Director focused on opportunity sourcing.
He played a key role in the founding and establishment of the Cannabis Trade Association of Africa, after identifying a need for an industry body to represent the fledgling companies in the region.
Having attended numerous international industry trade shows, Giesenow has demonstrated extensive abilities to connect with people and has built up a very wide global network that he can tap into. He has also proven abilities to identify innovative products and opportunities and is working to foster and enable global trade.
With deep consulting experience in product and brand development, strategy, distribution, trade facilitation and retail, Giesenow remains an active advisor in the cannabis space working with a wide variety of companies to accelerate their growth.
